This coop produced coffee comes from the Western Highland of Guatemala, which includes the regions of Chimaltenango, Heuheutenango, Quiche, Solola, San Marcos, and Quetzaltenango. The La Federacion Comercializadora de Cafe Especial de Guatemala is a second-level cooperative comprised of 12 small cooperatives. In total, there are 1,943 small farmers, 529 of whom are women, participating in this coop. Additionally, the coop has been working to create value-added products, which include its own roasted coffee brand, Kishe Coffee and Tea, as well as honey and chocolates.
