Our Story Guatemala is one of our very favorite origins. The coffees are always clean and bright, which results from the heirloom varietal beans being double-washed and impeccably processed. Furthering our commitment to the Cafe Femenino program, which began with Christian’s sourcing trip to Peru in 2017, we identified this coffee as an essential addition to our sustainably-produced and socially beneficial line of coffees. This coffee is brought to us by the women farmers, who at the Nahuala Cooperative outnumber the men. The women have increased their income, their ability to organize together and cultivate leadership opportunities, enriching their families and community by participating in Cafe Femenino.
