It is heavy bodied with mellow acidity, offering flavors of cedar, fresh earth, leather, and herbal nuance. The dark roast lends some sweet, syrupy caramelization to the finish.

Our Story Being trained and learning the craft as a classic second wave coffee roaster, our Master Roaster, Christian Waskiewicz loves tradition. That tradition and his European upbringing and life experiences is due cause to represent the “classics” of European roasting styles in a domestic interpretation. To round out the triad of Euro-Classics, which include Vienna and French, Alpen Sierra’s Italian Roast is specifically, but not solely, blended for espresso brewing.
